2010 Junior Dragons Den Competition
As part of the Cork Schools Enterprise Programme, Cork City, South Cork and North Cork Enterprise Boards are pleased to announce the addition of a new student enterprise initiative to the Programme this year.
Our Junior Dragons Den competition is based on the popular TV programme and gives students the opportunity to come up with a creative and unique idea for a new business venture.
This competition is open to students from 1st year to 6th year and comprises of two categories Junior Category and Senior Category.
Almost 50 entries were received and a total of 7 teams have been shortlisted in the Junior Category and 15 teams in the Senior Category.
The finalists and will now go forward to pitch their business ideas at the live final which takes place on Monday 15th March in the Maryborough House Hotel in Douglas.
Our panel of Dragons is as follows:

· Colette Quinn, Real Insights
The prize for overall winners in both categories is a state-of-the-art Netbook or alternatively vouchers to the same value to share between team members.
